a couple of poems were written for the exhibition Burn a Note, which took place in a collective-run garden on December 10th 2022. The poems were read during sundown by Martian, as a guest in front of piles of chopped branches and scrap metal.

a couple of poems on waiting for calls that never arrive and towers of expressions that circulate nevertheless. a couple of poems on maintaining worlds built to collapse and shift. a couple of poems on possible meeting places. An ode to our old kitchen table, that is actually yours. On a book I can’t find anymore and don’t know where to look for. You placed it on the table’s red surface with light cutting marks - or put at least my words about it into our kitchen. I’m sure I hadn’t read it yet back then, but your jar filled with ashes is also there.

a couple of poems [übersetzt: ein paar Gedichte] wurden für die Ausstellung Burn a Note geschrieben, welche am 10. Dezember 2022 in einem kollektiv gepflegten Garten und Gewächshäusern stattfand. Während dem Sonnenuntergang las Martian als Gast die Texte, situiert vor einem Berg gehäckselter Äste und Altmetall.

Ein paar Gedichte über das Warten auf Anrufe, die nie eingehen und Türme voller Ausdrücke, die dennoch zirkulieren. Ein Paar Gedichte über die Aufrechterhaltung von Welten, die gebaut wurden um zusammenzubrechen und sich zu verändern. Ein paar Gedichte über mögliche Orte, die sich zum Treffen eigenen. Eine Ode an unseren alten Küchentisch, der nun dir gehört. Über ein Buch, das ich nicht mehr finde und nicht weiss wo ich weiter danach suchen soll. Du hast es auf der leicht verkratzten roten Oberfläche des Tischs, oder zumindest meine Worte darüber in unsere Küche platziert. Aber ich bin mir sicher, dass ich es damals noch nicht besass, aber dein Glas gefüllt mit Asche war auch da.
